Spreading love – Changing lives

Cesar lives in a small viallage in Peru, the highlands of the Andes. Since his his birth, the 14 year-old boy has been plagued with epileptical attacks. This lead to him not becoming fully developed both mentally and in his movement. Although he was able to attend a school, he wasn't able to learn how to read and write. On the contrary, he disrupted class since he could concentrate only very difficultly. Cesar was an outsider in his class and environment. This was shown specifically during school recess. While others ran off to play football, he stood apart from them. Oh how he would have enjoyed running around or kicking the ball with all his might into the goal! However, his physical limitations never allowed it.

Spreading love in the form of concrete help

Two years ago, he got in touch with our staff member Bine Vogel. She was spreading God's love in the form of concrete help and sustainably changing lives in the process. She started supporting him in the context of heartbeat, our child welfare organisation and partner project for children with disabilities. It is unbelievable what has happened to Cesar since then.

The deliberate support through medicine, minerals, concentration training has changes his life. He has developed into a student eager to learn new things. Menawhile, he can follow the classes and instructions well. He has learned how to read and write.

Spreading love – Changing lives

Christmas reminds us of how God has spread His love through Jesus Christ to us and of how this has changed our lives sustainably. You can spread this love of God to others. I ask you: Make and impact through God's love this Christmas and enable sustainable change for the heartbeat-children that have been entrusted to us!

This can be achieved through a small amount of 10 Euro or 20 Euro. Of course you can choose your own amount. Cesar and many other children in Peru, in Taiwan and in Northeast Brazil are living proof that God's love that is spread can make a sustainable change in their lives.
