BACKGROUND
The security situation is unstable in South Sudan and eastern Congo. Lack of education plays an essential role in this. Young people without education and professional prospects can easily be dismissed by struggle and
Rebel groups are recruited because they hope for food and pay. They obtain their resources from the population, which leads to hunger, flight and misery.
Breaking this cycle requires teachers and training opportunities that provide young people with career prospects and spiritual and ethical orientation.
Through the education and training of teachers and leaders, we make an effective contribution so that young people gain perspective with their learned skills to build their country.
