Forgiveness and Freedom in Prisons
"You are right to sit in!" They deserved the just punishment for what they did. Many turn away from prisoners and want nothing to do with them. Jesus said, "I have been in prison, and you have come to me." (Mt 25,36)
To these people, in deportation and maximum security prisons, our missionaries are on their way. They want to bring light and life, forgiveness and peace to the prisoners. To outsiders of society who seem totally inferior to themselves, a new beginning of life with hope can be offered through Christ. This is done through Bible and language teaching, pastoral care, worship services and evangelistic feasts. Meanwhile, several hundred prisoners have become new people through faith.
