Thai Guest Workers Mission in Taiwan
I grew up in a family without peace. My father was addicted to alcohol and argued with my mother. There was no joy in the family. I wanted to get out and look for fun in gambling, became a criminal, drank alcohol and used drugs. I thought this could give me peace and joy. Then I came to Taiwan as a guest worker. A friend urged me to come to a Thai church. I didn't want to leave. When I overcame myself, it was different than I thought. God was the answer for my life. He gave me peace and joy in my heart. I no longer needed alcohol, and true love reigned among the brethren in the church.

Since 1992, there has been work among Thai migrant workers. Thousands of Thais have heard the good news of Jesus, many of them for the first time. More than 1000 Thais came to faith and experienced a change in their lives. Most of them are already back in Thailand. Many of them led others there to Jesus or founded new churches. In Taiwan itself, ten Thai communities have now emerged. Others are to be established.
In addition to the three MM missionaries in Taiwan, another 17 Thais and a Taiwanese couple are working as missionaries in this work.
