More than just teaching
Teaching at a theological seminary, such as the China Lutheran Seminary in Hsinshu, Taiwan, consists of more than just teaching. It is important and desired that students and lecturers share life and spiritual accompaniment.
In addition to the lessons, this means, for example, for Joachim Schmid, to give employee services, to preach at the seminary, to accompany a small group of students at home, to read the Bible with them and to enter into conversation with them.
These common times shape, provide orientation and bring the teaching and learning content into the everyday life of life. The topics of world mission and diakonia are also deepened.
