DATA PROTECTION INSTRUCTIONS
We, the Marburg Mission Foundation, as Entity responsible, process your personal data for the fulfilment of a legal obligation (§ 6 no. 6 DSG-EKD), the execution of the contract (§ 6 no. 5 DSG-EKD), a pre-contractual measure (§ 6 no. 5 DSG-EKD), for legitimate interest (§ 6 no. 4 DSG-EKD) or on the basis of your consent (§ 6 no. 2 DSG-EKD).
You have as an affected person at all times the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, right of objection, right to data portability and right to revoke a given consent. In order to exercise these rights, please use the above-mentioned contact data and specify keywords in which of our work areas we can find your data, e.g. "Email newsletter", "Subscription MM magazine", "Donor data", "Applicant".
Furthermore, you can contact the data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data by Stiftung Marburger Mission does not comply with the DSG-EKD.
The Foundation Marburger Mission takes the protection of your personal data very seriously and treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with church data protection laws and this data protection notice. The security of your data is our first priority.
The use of the website of the Foundation Marburger Mission is usually possible without providing personal data. In general, it is not necessary for the use of the website of the Foundation Marburger Mission that you provide personal data. Registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called "newsletter". Double opt-in procedure. This means that you will receive an e-mail after registration in which you will be asked to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can log in with foreign e-mail addresses. The registrations for the newsletter are logged in order to be able to prove the registration process according to the legal requirements. This includes the storage of the registration and confirmation time, as well as the IP address.
You can cancel receipt of our newsletter at any time, i.e. withdraw your consent. A link to cancel the newsletter can be found at the end of each newsletter. If you have terminated your registration, your o.g. personal data will be deleted.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries via contact form, your details from the enquiry form including the contact data you provide there will be stored with us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the case of follow-up enquiries up to 6 months after your request has been addressed. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
Use of cookies and analysis tool
The websites of the Marburger Mission Foundation sometimes use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. Your right of access, deletion, blocking

You have the rights to data portability, restriction of processing and objection. You also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority about the data processing taking place. Emails / Forms
For technical or operational reasons, the receipt of e-mail communication may be disturbed and / or may not reach the recipient in time. We recommend sending time-critical or urgent messages additionally by post, courier or fax.

Please do checks for computer viruses yourself before reading emails, especially before opening attachments to emails. Amendments
We reserve the right to change the data protection declaration in order to adapt it to changed legal situations or changes to the service and data processing. However, this only applies with regard to data processing declarations. If consents of the users are required or components of the data protection declaration contain provisions of the contractual relationship with the users, the changes are only made with the consent of the users.
