On Friday (22 April), the leadership team of the community of our missionary Samuel Kutenski flew to the Romanian border area with Ukraine. Shortly thereafter, a few minibuses followed with a total of 20 other people, who brought with them 1,500 Ukrainian Bibles, medicines and other supplies. The journey took about 25 hours. Since then, a small hotel has served as accommodation, in which the whole group is accommodated and from where everything has been organized since then.
Divided into smaller groups it goes every day to the border to help and serve.
The different tasks are:
- Sort storage and donations
- care and support people in the refugee camp,
- Meeting people at the border, providing them with food and drink and supporting them in carrying and organizing further steps
- Proclaiming the Gospel, praying for people and meeting them with hope and love
- Praise and children’s programme for employment and encouragement
- Providing people in Ukraine with food and medicine.
Half of the team flies after a week of deployment on 01.05. Back home and the other half stays there for a few more days until 06.05.
Pray for the group for preservation and good conversations and meetings
