On Saturday, 26.04., the 70th anniversary celebration of the Bethesda home in Hualin, Taiwan took place. Mirjam Wentland reports:
Last Saturday we celebrated our 70th anniversary with around 300 guests. At 9:30 a.m. the festival began with singing, dancing and moving speeches – among others by representatives of the Marburg Mission and Liberty Corner. Sister Monika also travelled especially for this event.
A special highlight was the gallery exhibition with pictures that our residents painted themselves. The exhibition was met with great enthusiasm – many pictures were admired and also bought.
We hope that our guests could feel how grateful we are to God – and to each one of us – for all that Bethesda has been allowed to become by his grace over the past 70 years.
